John Catsimatidis immigrated to the States with his family and became a true New Yorker. He went to school by day and worked in a grocery store by night until eight credits short of graduating from NYU he opted to work in at the grocery full-time. Today, that grocery business grew into Red Apple Group, a conglomerate with interests in energy, real estate, aviation, baseball, entertainment and media.
